Notting Hill Carnival

Each year the streets of Notting Hill are bought to life with the animated energy of Notting Hill Carnival. Since its first appearance in 1966 the final Sunday and bank holiday Monday of August has been home to this extraordinary electric energy. The event is lead by the British West Indian community and described as the largest street festival attracting over one million people. It's a significant event in British Culture

and something that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime.
