Although London isn't near coast there is still an opportunity to go to the beach. Ruislip Lido is the closest thing to a beach in London with a is a 60 acre lake parallel to a soft sandy area mirroring a beach.
During the summer months Ruislip Lido remains open for an extended period, in order to ensure you receive your satisfactory amount of time at their sandy beaches.
